These classes give you the opportunity to step out onto any dance floor, with poise and confidence, for an enjoyable time every time.
Intro Level … covers the most fundamental steps and gives the novice dancer confidence to get on that dance floor and have fun. This is a 4-week class that is taught consecutively.
Level I… covers fundamentals of Lead & Follow along with a fun variety of steps & patterns. Level I consists of approximately 16 weeks of instruction. These classes may be taken in any order either by a drop-in or as a Series. In order to move on to Level II, all weeks must be completed AND have the instructors approval.
Level II… covers more advanced nuances of Lead & Follow along with a repertoire of more advanced steps & intricate patterns. Level II consists of approximately 18 weeks of instruction. These classes may be taken in any order either by a drop-in or as a Series. In order to move on to the Cont. Level, all 18 weeks must be completed AND have the instructors approval.
Cont. Level... covers advanced level steps and choreography. These are limited classes offered to our upper level students and will give these students performance opportunities.
All Technique classes meet once a week. Classes are taught at two different levels, depending on the style. Not every dance style is offered every month.
Classes focus on technique, form & execution of the dance style along with a fundamental history of the dance. Depending on the particular class level, these classes are for adults who have never taken a dance class or those who have previous training and would like to dance again. Strong emphasis is placed on technique, terminology and how to work properly in the bodies that we have today as adults.
All classes are non-competitive. No class observation allowed without previous approval from instructor.
