Policies & Procedures

  • Absolutely no food, drink, or gum on the dance floor. Any food provided for events should remain on the carpeted areas only. Absolutely No Gum in Class.
  • Do Not arrive to class more than 15min. early.
  • Once class is finished, we ask that students leave within 10-15, unless you are helping us clean.
  • Come dressed for class as Bathroom capacity will be limited to one person at a time.

Technique Classes

  • When you arrive for your Technique class (Ballet, Jazz, Modern/African), please remove your street shoes before entering the dance room. You may leave them in the lobby. Do not wear your shoes for Technique classes outside.
  • If you arrive late to class please wait until the instructor has stopped speaking & indicates you may come in.

Social Dance Classes

  • When you arrive for your Social Dance Class (Ballroom, Blues, Swing, etc.), If you have dance shoes just for class- please remove your street shoes before entering the studio. You can put your dance shoes on in the lobby or studio. You may leave your street shoes in the lobby. It is advisable that you do not wear your dance shoes outside. If, for whatever reason you do, please take a damp towel & clean the soles before you wear them in the studio. If you wear or bring street shoe for class- please wipe them off thoroughly before stepping onto the dance floor. This means more than just a quick wipe on the mat, but rather with a damp paper towel & then wiping them on the mat. We provide paper towels in the bathroom which may be used to clean your shoes. During wet weather we will also provide towels for you to use.

Health Policy

Effective November 7, 2022 Masks will be optional at the studio.
Additionally:
  • If you are sick, please stay home.
  • If you have been exposed to any virus, but are not symptomatic, please wear a mask.
We will still be observing all other Studio Health Policies, along with and limiting class size.
In order to stay healthy & continue dancing, we ask that every student adhere to the following policies.
  • If you have a fever, flu or cold symptoms PLEASE STAY HOME. Likewise, if you are taking care of someone who is sick, Please stay home. If you come to the studio sick, you will be asked to leave.
  • Please wash your hands for 20 sec. after using the restroom.  A Touchless Soap Dispenser is provided.
  • Use hand sanitizer every time you enter the dance room. A Touchless Dispenser is provided by the entrance of the dance room.
  • Use hand sanitizer after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing and throughout class. There is a second Touchless Dispenser in the dance room.
 It is the goal of Five, Six, Seven, Eight LLC to create a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment for all its’ students, staff, instructors, and visitors. We have thoroughly investigated and consults with Health professionals specializing in the dance community, in order to reach these decisions. As the COVID climate changes we will re-evaluate our decisions and adjust accordingly. We will do our share in keeping the studio clean & sanitized. You can certainly help out with wiping down surfaces after class. We appreciate your vigilance and dedication to ensure the health and safety of our dance community.

FAQ

HOW DO I REGISTER & SIGN UP FOR A CLASS   
   
~ Use the Registration button which will take you to our Studio software site. create an account (this is registration). Please fill out ALL the boxes & read all documents attached to the registration. There is new info regarding studio policies.
    ~ Once you create your account sign to make sure everything is in order. On your home page click over to the first day of the class you are interested in attending.
    ~ Click on the class , choose Buy Now button & pay. We will be accepting ACH , Debit/CC.
CAN I CANCEL MY CLASS PURCHASE AND RECEIVE A REFUND  
   
~  You may cancel a class purchase up to 24-hours in advance of the class start time and receive a refund MINUS a service fee. We are unable to offer a refund for classes if you cancel within the 24-hour window prior to the start of class or after the Series begins.   Please note that classes are non-transferable and there are no refunds for missed classes.
IS THERE A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM CLASS SIZE REQUIRED    
   
~ The minimum class size is (4) students & the maximum size for classes is indicated under the description for the class being offered.
IF I ARRIVE LATE TO CLASS CAN I STILL GET IN       
    ~ Yes, If you arrive late to class please wait until the instructor has stopped speaking & has indicated that you may come in.
DO I NEED A PARTNER FOR SOCIAL DANCE CLASS
  ~ Blues class is the only class that requires you sign up with a partner. You do not need a partner for any other Social Dance class, however if you do not join with a partner you run the risk of not being paired up with another person in class who also does not have a partner. Also, please note that we are currently not rotating partners in class.
WHEN CAN I JOIN A CLASS   
    ~ Unless the class is full, you may purchase a Class or Series up to 30 min. before class start time. However, there is an exception for the Introductory Social Dace classes. Those are only taught as a series, no drop-ins are allowed.
